Joao Saldanha Institute of Development and International Studies (JSIDIS)
The research arm of JSU with the mission of promoting research to promote policy debate and advocacy in multidisciplinary areas of good governance and social policy, economic development and business, and information and applied technology. JSIDIS has three Centers:
1. Centro de Estudos Timorense, Luso, Europeu (CETLE),
2. Center for Indonesian, ASEAN, and Asian Studies (CIAAS), and 3. Center for Australian, New Zealand, and Pacific Studies (CANPAS).
3. Center for Australian, New Zealand, and Pacific Studies (CANPAS).
4. East Timor Study Group (ETSG) conduct research, debate, and policy advocacy in Peace, Reconciliation, and Conflict Resolution.
