The School of Applied Science and Engineering (SASE) JSU is dedicated to developing innovative thinkers who are prepared to address the world’s most complex scientific and engineering challenges. We provide a supportive, collaborative environment where students and faculty work closely together, fostering mentorship and a shared commitment to academic excellence and societal impact.

SASE integrates tools in science, engineering principles, and applied mathematics to equip students with the skills needed to excel in modern engineering and technology fields. As the school begins its journey with the Department of Applied Mathematics, our initial focus is on training students to apply mathematical principles to solve practical problems in structural engineering and related fields.
